Sweet Corn Bread Recipe

1 cup cornmeal
1 1/4 cup white flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1 egg lightly beaten
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
2. Combine flour, cornmeal, suger, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a larg bowl. Mix egg, sour cream, milk, and butter in a small bowl. Fold egg mixture into flour mixture until just moistened; pour into prepared baking dish.
3. Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted near the senter comes out clean,20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm.
